Auto Paste on Mac: A 3‑minute Guide to AegisClip

Auto Paste lets you click a clip and it goes straight into the active app. No app switching, no manual ⌘V. Here is the 3‑minute setup.

1) Enable Accessibility

  • Open AegisClip → Settings → Auto Paste
  • Follow the prompt to grant Accessibility in System Settings
  • You can switch the feature on/off any time

2) Open the panel

Press ⌥⌘V to open AegisClip. Use ↑/↓ to select, then press Enter or simply click a clip to paste instantly.

Pro tips

  • Hold Shift while pasting to keep formatting temporarily
  • Use ⌘1..9 to quickly paste the first nine clips
  • If pasting fails, make sure the target app has focus and Accessibility is granted

Tip: Auto Paste works best with native macOS apps. Some Electron-based apps may require manual paste.
